Integrative Therapy Approach
Our integrative approach combines different therapeutic models and techniques depending on your individual needs and situation.
At the centre of our work is compassion, including helping clients develop greater compassion towards themselves. We believe this begins by slowing things down and creating the space to pause, reflect, and become curious about your experiences. Through reflection and deeper understanding, greater insight can emerge, allowing you to make more intentional and meaningful changes in your life.

You Do Not Need to Navigate Things Alone
Starting counselling can feel like a significant step. A free 15-minute initial consultation is offered where we briefly discuss what brings you to counselling, explore what support may be helpful, and consider whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
Okie Adebanjo
MBACP (accredited) · Integrative Psychotherapist · Accredited Mediator · Trainer
I am a Counsellor & Psychotherapist, mediator, trainer, and consultant with over 15 years of experience working across therapeutic services, local authorities, NHS settings, charitable organisations, and frontline community support services.
I provide integrative counselling, coaching, and relational support for adults, individuals, couples, and parents navigating emotional, relational, and life challenges.
My approach is warm, reflective, compassionate, and non-judgemental. I believe that every person is unique, which is why I do not work from a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I tailor the work to your individual needs, experiences, pace, and goals.
I work relationally and holistically, supporting the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms or immediate difficulties. Alongside talking therapy, I may also incorporate creative and reflective approaches where appropriate to help deepen understanding and self-awareness.
In our work together, we may explore:
- Thought patterns and internal self-talk
- Emotional responses and coping strategies
- Relationship patterns and dynamics
- Life experiences and their impact
- Practical tools to support emotional wellbeing and resilience
My aim is to help you develop both insight and practical change, so that progress continues beyond the therapy space.
My work is guided by the Explore → Understand → Change™ framework, supporting clients to Explore what is happening, Understand underlying patterns and experiences, and Change through meaningful and sustainable action.
Starting counselling can feel like a significant step. You do not need to have all the answers to begin. Sometimes change starts with simply having a safe space to pause, reflect, and explore what has felt too difficult to carry alone. My aim is to provide a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood, at your own pace.
If You Are Also Exploring Support Around Conflict or Communication
You may wish to consider mediation or organisational support.
